Dylan Hardwick
Dylan has been a firefighter for most of his life. On track for a football scholarship in college, Dylan chose to train with the local firefighting team after attending a seminar on fire safety. Since then, he has responded to some of the most harrowing fiery disasters in his home city. During off days, he goes around his community to speak in middle schools and office buildings to teach people about preventing fires and how to respond during emergencies. He lives at home with his wife and 2 sons.
Roger Matthews
After serving in the U.S. Army for a decade as a combat medic and ambulance driver, Roger returned to his hometown and is currently working as an EMT for the local hospital. He uses his battlefield experience to help people in need and educate them to preventing future hazards. Roger’s wife is a pre-school teacher, and together they educate kids during the weekends about hazard prevention and basic first aid. He is currently working on a novel about his experiences as an army field medic.
Melanie Henderson
Growing up with an outdoorsy family, Melanie learned early on how to be self-reliant and survive even the harshest conditions. This helped her prepare her mentally for her life as a trauma surgeon. As a distinguished doctor in her field, Melanie splits her time between treating patients, lecturing at her alma mater, and spending time outdoors practicing her survival skills. She and her husband are proud preppers, and they speak at their local community center about emergency preparedness and basic first-aid whenever they can.
